Procurement Officer at Hyde Energy

Hyde Energy began operations in Nigeria, importing and exporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and selling clean petroleum products. These operations established our base as a trading company. We enhanced our import and export activities by: acquiring a tank farm for storing petroleum products & securing a two-year term contract for LPG export.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Procurement Officer is responsible for the supply of products and services essential for Hyde’s operations by identifying the most cost-effective solutions and suppliers.
• The job holder will develop and deliver sourcing strategies, manage vendors and suppliers, and work with employees to optimize spending and achieve departmental and corporate goals within budget.

Qualifications

• A University Degree (minimum of second class lower)
• Procurement/Professional certification will be an added advantage
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Purchasing or Procurement function
• Oil & Gas experience is of additional advantage
