We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Location: Agbara / Igbesa – Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties
Instrumentation Technicians have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Uses gauges and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and mechanic hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components
• Manage and maintain instrument calibration documentation and CMMS database
• Maintain computers and software packages relevant to the design, modification, installation and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of instrument application, operation and of the electrical and mechanical principles involved in repair, testing and calibration
• Maintenance and calibration of process instrumentation devices, electrical power distribution and monitoring devices, VFD drives and motor control
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance including calibration, using data collectors, testing and diagnostic tools, and computerized maintenance management systems
• Investigate equipment failures, determine root cause of failure
• Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns
• Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of the plant mechanical integrity program
• Must be familiar with VFD structure and be able to determine causes of failure and be able to repair (prefer AB experience)
• Installs, services, and repairs process equipment components (valves, pumps, piping systems, actuators, filtration systems, pressure relief devices,) consistent with chemical industry.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Tech Degree with 5-10 years experience.
