Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Report line: This role reports to the MD/CEO

Job Summary

• The job recipient will responsible for provisioning the daily operation and services, including building-related maintenance, repairs, house services (janitorial/grounds), and energy management for a large portfolio of buildings.
• The job scope includes operational planning, identification of capital and expense projects required to maintain the real estate asset, and interface with senior company leadership.

The Main Job Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex high-rise portfolios of buildings or multiple large buildings in multiple locations.
• Oversee and supervise internal building technicians, administrative support staff, and several outside suppliers in the delivery of services to the buildings.
• Supervise core facilities and operations team and overall daily office operations.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment repairs tasks
• Oversee all facilities-related work including maintenance, reparations, and inventory of firm property and equipment.
• Serve as project manager for strategic and operational projects.
• Serve as liaison with building management, vendors, and contractors.
• Assist Office Administrator in the supervision and management of construction and remodeling projects.
• Provide consistent analysis and evaluation regarding office operational issues as well as industry best practices.
• Prepare and monitor facilities and operations annual budget; review, code, and process all invoices on a timely basis.
• Ensure consistency in the delivery of high-quality services and the application of office and Firm best practices.
• Develop effective communication strategies in conveying project status to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned on a need base.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 6+ years experience out of which 4+ years’ experience should be hands-on from the Estate /Facility Management sector
• Facility management
