Chanja Datti Recycling Co. Limited is a waste recovery and recycling social enterprise that currently collects waste plastic (PET bottles, pure water sachet, etc.) and other recyclables like aluminum cans, papers (old newspapers, old textbooks, cardboard, cartons etc.) and scraps and transforms them into pellets, flakes or bales, which are then supplied to off-takers/recyclers for use in the manufacture of various other products.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development and Research Associate
Location: Durumi II, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Sourcing new leads and delivering presentations to clients.
- Writing proposals and responding to client Request For Proposals (REPs).
- Register, keep and maintain a database of all clients, volunteers, waste suppliers, and partners.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports on business development activities and performance against established targets.
- Initiate and monitor business scope expansion (starting of hub/branches) to other geographical locations.
- Leveraging relationships and networks to increase penetration and collection rate
- Collate and gather market intelligence to support origination activities and help position the Company’s value proposition to clients.
- Consistently build value-adding relationships while maintaining and extending existing relationships.
- Providing client feedback to the web development team and participating in content development.
- Perform duties incidental to your office as may be assigned by the MD/CEO
- Ensure the CEO holds weekly staff meetings with staff members.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification.
- 2 – 5 years work experience.
