Invoicing Officer
Qualification & Required Skills:
- A relevant first degree (BSc/HND) in Computer Science, Statistics or any related discipline with a minimum of second-class lower division/lower credit.
- Minimum of at least three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar position.
- Not more than 35 years of age.
- Strong understanding of invoicing principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of billing procedures and relevant regulations.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and adept at handling financial transactions.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team also within a team
Job Description:
- Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify sales data to ensure completeness and correctness before invoicing.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and other internal departments regarding invoices.
- Reconcile invoices with accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and follow-up on outstanding invoices to facilitate timely payments.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to invoicing,
