We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Inventory Supervisor
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in tracking and recording inventory movements.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Implement and uphold strict procedures to address missing items.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory issues.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of inventory management processes.
- Assist in training new staff on inventory procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement: OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in counting accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Mature communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated honesty and integrity in handling inventory responsibilities.
- Ability to enforce strict measures for accountability and responsibility.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficient in using inventory management software.
